The PowerHeater technology is based upon extrusion technology principles. The PowerHeater process is based upon transferring mechanical and thermal energy into a meat emulsion in order to coagulate the protein and potential sources of carbohydrates. The technology enables simple meat based formulas to be transferred into a very texturized meat-alike product.


Due to its natural meat-like appearance the PowerHeater product is often used in the snack industry. Since a very limited amount of external binders are required, it is feasible to produce a snack product with unique palatability and mouth feel properties.
